Hey,

We have had some threads in the past about traditional music from our members different countries, and also the thread "What are you listening to now" is a popular one.

I was thinking about making this thread for a while but never got around to it. I saw some artist in the "What are you listening to now" -thread that was Norwegian and was surprised to see a Greek and a Dutch member posting it. Didn't really know then that this artist had made it big outside of Norway.

So here goes... I want you all to post some Artists / Bands from your home country that you like or think others might like.

In fact take initiative to start a topic representing your country with the name [nationality] Artists. Example; I will make a thread called Norwegian Artists. Keep adding as new artists comes to the surface in your country.

Bands that maybe have a less popularity in other countries or famous, doesn't matter. Link to webpages and / or youtube / Spotify. Some artists might not even be on youtube.

I can't wait for the Swedes! They have so many great bands!!! Big Smile 1

Remember you do not have to like everything you post yourself. It's just a way maybe some of us may find something we like from a band we would normally never hear.

Let's hope we have enough active members on this forum so this will be possible.

Oh, and if you do not have it yet, check out Spotify.

I will start with Norway then.

Every nation have some treasures... come on. Like mentioned, you don´t have to be a fan of what you post yourself. I am not a fan of everything I posted.

Isn´t Hooverphonic also from Belgium?

PS: And you also have DJ Incy! *;)

Aye, they are. Also from Belgium:

Milow
K's Choice
Hooverphonic (as noted by Tyfgnoem)
Soulwax (also known as 2 Many DJs)

Belgium has some great music, don't be too dismissive of it. To be honest, as someone from Holland, I'm a little jealous.

guess its just my taste that sux donkeyballs then :p

@ Heisen, i have no idea what the hell those groups are that you mentioned :p

@ Q, i've heard of Deus but i don't know a single song of them.

@ Tyf, oke i admit Hooverphonic was/is oke been a long time since i heard something about them.

@Lys, i didn't bother to put any belgian Dj's like Soulwax, Shameboy, The Subs cause there isn't actually alot of singing involved.

Bah just don't mind me, i just have a thing about belgian products, that they generally suck, every time i think of Belgian music, i think about Laura Lynn, Bart Kaell, Clouseau, etc... and those just give me goosebumps (and not in a good way :p)
