[Press this link for aditional Grid addons!!]

Below are some info i have collected over the years using Grid.
Hopefully it can come to some use. I heal through Clique.

You download grid + all extra grid addon from http://files.wowace.com/

As you can customize it 100% i for example have:
Inner fire at middle to left as grey.
Middle bottom i got PoM as blue (you could for example have that at
same place as inner fire with higher value so when PoM jumps to me, i
see PoM not inner fire, when PoM jump from me i see who gets it and i
got inner fire indicator back.

I suggest to have your incoming heal at healthbar, so you can se others heals on target... this rox!!
I have how ever unchecked it in centertext, but thats just personal taste.

If you got "gridstatushots", for example at center text 2 - you see a
timer for your renew + the number of hots on that person. At same
place (center text2) I also got dc, feign death, low hp warning, dead
at diffrent value so they are shown in right order. Higher value at
fd, dc as if someone are dead, theres no meaning in showing any other
info.
Also out of range heavely faded (change update timer to 0.5s or less) so you dont spend time trying to heal
them.

Another tip is to make a macro toggle group / class layout with one
click:
Change the number "By group 25" to 10, 25 or what ever number u wish.
I have two macros, one for raid toggling "by class"/"by group 25" and one for pvp
toggling "by group 15/"by group 40".

/run local l1,l2,g,p="By Class","By Group 25";
g=GridLayout;p=g.db.profile;p.layout = p.layout == l1 and l2 or l1;if
not InCombatLockdown() then g:ReloadLayout();ChatFrame1:AddMessage
("GridLayout: "..p.layout);else Grid.rosterNeedsUpdate=true end

Get "Gridsideindicators" or/and "gridstatusmissingbuffs"

Gridsideindicators gives you 4 aditional squares to configurate, just
like the
corners, but to top, bottom, left and right.
Gridstatusmissingbuffs let you toggle missing buff (toggle shown out of
combat or all the time)

Additional other info:
What i know of theres only 2 text areas, but you have to check the
2nd to get it to show.
I got names at 1st text, and dc, dead, fd etc at 2nd.
[Edit] there now are one extra addon for a third text area.

If you want your buffs to show download GridStatusMissingBuffs. Then revers it to only show when missing, wher ever you want it to show.

Now to one of the best part, as the pic above, you also ad de buffs.
Adding de buffs to grid are a raid saver and you will have 100% overwiev of who got what, herpes, klamydia etc etc.
Im updating the de buffs as we encounter new bosses.
I have both center icon and frame checked for deffuffs. Green frame
for diseese, blue for magic and red for manually added debuffs, as:

Priests
Serendipity - (enable to centertext and count = when you have 3 stacks your prayer of healing will be casted in half the time)
Surge of Light

XT-002 Deconstructor
Light Bomb
Gravity Bomb
Tympanic Tantrum (massive dmg) - if you ad this, dont forget to raise prio on the 2 above, but i dont recomend it

Ignis the furnace master
Slag Pot
Scorch
Napalm Shell

Kolagarn
Stone Grip

Yogg-saron
Squeeze <-----------------> all raid members should ad this - DPS as well

So i started doing some pvp and that f%€ sheep pisses me off. I found this awsome addon to Grid called Gridincomingspell
(have no clue why i cant get it at wowace but it semes they will move all to Curse at wotlk). Anyway, enable this where you want it to show (i got whoe healthbar turned red + center text 1) and you will see what unit getting fear, sheep etc cast on them. So this gives you a heads up and will beet anyone dispelling. And in pvp you can time your swpain way much easier.
Its important to understand that due to mecanics it works like 75%, but still quite good.

Wherever your a raider or a pvp´er you gotta get GridLineOfSight sight as well.
This enables you to show whos los for the duration of time you can configurate (8 second by default). Now the mecanics is a bit special as it dont keep track of the LOS. It only puts a mark (and as usual with grid you can get it to show how ever you want, i got it as out of range, whole alpha frame) for lets say 8 sec. After that the mark goes away and if you trie to heal some one LOS again, it repeats. How ever if you heal a person out of LOS but still have the mark due to timer the mark clears.
This addon are highly recomended in raids and battlegrounds. No more wasting time trying to heal persons in range but LOS.

Dont wanna change the layouts everytime you enter battleground or instance?
For easy handling you should install Griddynamiczoneswitch.
Works great and are easy to configurate, just check they layout you wish for each zone.

I hope this guide have been to some help, please just ask me if you
got any questions and ill help you out.

Hal, this was a very useful thread to me, as i am a big Grid Fan. So thanks =)
As a start i'll add all the debuffs of sunwell bosses, will make my life much easier.
I have a small question though, if i add the buffs manually, in the case of a missing buff will it show in the grid as a dot , or will it display the actual pic of the buff?
I dont know about the healers' current situation, but would be awesome if all used grid :D seriously we would see all of our incoming heals so we would be more mana efficient and less overhealing. Just think about it:p
anyways that's all i could think of, if i have any questions ill ask u in game hal:P

Hey Rash,

Now the beuty with grid, the debuffs will be shown where you want it to show.
1st ad debuff
2nd enable debuff where you want.
You say it shows as a dot, thats becourse you proably have the standard settings. Go to Grid/frame/top right corner (or where ever you have that debuff showing) and uncheck it (as well as debuffs disp. by me).
Then go to Grid/frame/center icon and enable all those debuffs you manually added (including debuffs dispellable by me) - and they will show as default pic (you can rezise the pic showing as well at another place).

I have all "dispelable by me" debuffs by as blue, manually added "boss" debuffs as red (abolish disease as green). I have enabled them all at frame as well - so depending on what color im given (+ center icon), i dispel, decure, or boost healing.

Anyway, grab all extra addon listen in the post above and ill walk u thorugh this weekend - u will love it even more =)
